New Season.

Have you ever suddenly felt like you were entering a new season of life? New ideas, new dreams, and new rhythms secretly calling to you?

I felt this exact thing at the beginning of March, right as my son turned one and started entering a whole new season of his little life. He’s only 14 months old, but he’s officially a full-blown toddler now. Walking — no, running — everywhere, pulling everything out of every drawer in my home, and talking constantly. Not English exactly, just endless baby babbling. And it’s the cutest darn thing you ever did see.

Around the same time, I met an amazing woman through a podcast interview who made a business dream of mine suddenly feel possible. Not in a flashy “guru” kind of way either. She’s a faith-filled mom who has worked incredibly hard to build something meaningful and now helps businesses like mine learn how to do the same. No fluff. No fake promises. Just wisdom, systems, and consistency.

Something about that conversation reignited my creativity. I could feel it in my bones: a new MGO adventure is coming, new explorations for my toddler, and deeper yearnings in my soul.

Back to Basics

My “word” for 2026 has been “back to basics.” Yes, technically that’s three words, but you get the point. Since January, I’ve been intentionally revisiting foundational areas of my life: our finances, my health, my energy, reading again, journaling again, and creating healthier rhythms at home. I found new systems for each of these and for the first time, I feel like I’m thriving in these areas. (If they keep working, I’ll share them with you, promise!)

At first, I thought all of these changes would simply make my current season more manageable. More sustainable. More peaceful. More functional.

Instead, it ignited a new sense of what’s possible. New visions. New dreams that I want to learn how to implement. But, I knew if I wanted to FULLY enter this new season, I needed to allow space for it. I needed to declutter my soul and mind first. So, I read a book I’ve been wanting to read for a while: Make It Happen: Surrender Your Fear. Take the Leap. Live On Purpose. by Lara Casey.

“You know all those things you’ve always wanted to do? You should go do them.”
That line hit me differently this year because when I stopped and looked around, I realized God has already allowed me to do so many things I once only dreamed about. Become an actress. Start my own business. Write a book. Fall in love. Build a family. Live near nature. Become a mom.

A Renewed Vision

So, what now? What else have I always wanted to do but haven’t done yet?

There’s a vision I have for my organizing business to reach as many women as possible that need to hear an organizing message of Beauty and G.R.A.C.E., and for the first time, it feels possible. Not easy or instant, but doable. One step and strategy at time.

There’s a small section at the end of the book that talks about physical decluttering. Naturally, my favorite part of the book. And so, I found myself doing what I always do when life feels transitional: decluttering.

First, it was silly, little things around the house that no longer served a purpose. Then, I started to declutter the paper in my home office. I love to write. I write on everything. Post-it notes, journals, lined school paper, graph paper, and random scraps of paper. Even the notes on my phone, a Word doc and Trello board. Ideas, dreams, half-finished plans literally everywhere. Some worth keeping and some belonging to an older version of me.

Somewhere in the middle of sorting through all of it, I realized this round of decluttering was deeper than the physical paper. It was the closing of a season—a long season of quiet personal pain.

I found my journal filled with prayers, grief, longing, confusion, disappointment, and heartbreak. And I knew in my spirit that I had to let the pain go. Not because it didn’t matter, but because God had answered so many of those prayers and I felt Him calling me into a new season.

He brought us Dylan. And I want to be fully present for him and this life I prayed so hard for.

Make Space for What’s Next

I also realized something else: I can’t help women declutter their homes and souls if my soul is cluttered and halted in the past. So, I keep decluttering both internally and externally, making space and preparing for whatever this next season holds.

And honestly? I feel lighter. More focused. More open to learning, growing, and implementing new things.

So, now I’m curious: do you feel like you’re entering a new season too? Or maybe you desperately want to enter a new season. What will you declutter this week to help usher it in?

Reply and tell me about it. While I can’t reply to everyone, I read every response, and I love hearing from you.

Be Extraordinary,
