Clothes & More

Ebay

https://www.ebay.com/

Ebay is another, not as easy, way to sell anything you want too! I’ve noticed that vintage and electronic items sell well on this platform.

Etsy

https://www.etsy.com/

I‘ve found that etsy is a great place to shop and sell vintage!

Mercari

https://www.mercari.com/

They boast that they are the easiest platform to sell your items. Simply list it, ship it, and get paid.

Poshmark

https://poshmark.com

The leading social commerce platform whose mission is to make shopping and selling simple, social, and fun. You can sell everything from clothes to accessories to home goods and beauty & wellness products. As a professional organizer, I love this platform for selling items that local resale shops did not accept. Almost everything I have listed has sold.

thredUP

https://www.thredup.com/

Claiming to be the world’s largest online thrift store and consignment shop, their mission is to “inspire a new generation of shoppers to think secondhand clothes first.” As a professional organizer, I LOVE the convenience of this service. You might not get the highest resale value, but you’re also not wasting a lot of time driving to different resale shops. Love them or hate them, they are, in my opinion, the EASIEST, LEAST TIME CONSUMING, way to resell your clothes, shoes, and accessories.

Social Media

These once local phone apps now offer shipping to anywhere in the US: OfferUp (which just joined with LetGo) & Facebook Marketplace.  I have mixed feelings about these two platforms and how humans are interacting on them, but as a professional organizer, they are easy platforms that my clients have found success with. Whether giving an item away for free or selling something for $5 – $200, they almost always find a buyer. And for that reason, they are great resources for your decluttered items that you want to gain a few bucks back.
